Sourcing and creating content that truly captures the essence of black and brown communities, while also maintaining integrity and respect could be a frustrating endeavor. Many representations tend to lean into stereotypes or oversimplified narratives that fail to acknowledge the strength, pain & beauty within these communities. This lack of authenticity raises the challenge of artistry that celebrates cultural heritage without objectifying it.
